Villa Bella is situated on the beach of a shallow (0-35 cm deep) lake which has warmer water than normal sea water. In the high season parts of the lake are partly dry so you can walk across to the main Glyfada Beach. In the remaining part of the year you can easily cross the lake (about 80 meter wide) by wading. If you prefer not to cross the lake, then it is about 400 meter to walk around the North side of the lake and down to the beach.

The main Glyfada Beach (Kastraki-Glyfada-Aliko) is almost 3 km long and is relatively private due to the fact that there are few hotels nearby. Especially because of the shallow lake between the beach and the house, you may share this part of the Glyfada Beach with fewer other tourists.

The villa is fully equipped including baby cot, high chair, washing machine, dish washer, oven with ceramic top, microwave, coffee machine, water boiler, toaster and refrigerator/freezer with ice cube machine, satellite TV with DVD and audio system.

There are several restaurants/tavernas in the same area as Villa Bella. The closest is "To Kamari (the arch)" run by friendly Maria and Vassilis about 100 meter from the house. Then you have the "Apólafsi (discovery)" tavern and the "Axiótisa" next to the Kastraki exit (1 km north). Finally you have the "Faros restaurant " 0.9 km to the south. The front of the house borders the lake and the beach. The main road is about 60 meters distance from the back of the house. The bus stop is close by and the closest supermarket is in Kastraki, about 2 km distance from the house.
