We strongly recommend you to rent car or another vehicle when renting the our villa. The reason is that it gives to the freedom to move around and explore the island as well as the closest grocery shop is 2 km away, bakery 2-3 km away and a supermarket 5 km away.
In Naxos there are numerous car rental companies. The prices for a small car including insurance normally vary between EUR 23 and EUR 45 per day depending on season. You can also rent bikes, motorbike and 4-wheel bike at most car rental firms.
When selecting car rental company the reputation is far more important than if it is a known network name. Most rental firms can rent you a car, but the judgement of quality can only be done in case of an accident or the flexibility when you arrive the island in late evening and wish you had a car waiting for you at the airport/seaport.
